Clay Explorations

Clay Explorations goes beyond the expectations of a typical beginner pottery class. Taught by longtime Youth and Adult Instructor, Laure Krumenacker, this class blends traditional hand-building techniques with experimental artmaking techniques and engaging creative prompts. Some projects will incorporate Mixed-Media or 2D elements and others will explore developing sculptural works with non-traditional clay. Towards the end of the session, students will develop and design their own small clay project inspired by what they've learned.
