Creative Play: Art Adventures

In this class, Kindergarten-1st grade students will explore a variety of art media and techniques. Students will use watercolor paint, oil, chalk pastels, ink, clay, and upcycled materials. Students will create 2D and 3D works, and explore basic bookmaking and puppet-making. Many projects explored are one-day activities, but there will be time for multi-step projects and some larger collaborative works at the end of the session.

The "Creative Play" class series is designed for our youngest group of artists with shorter classes and engaging projects led by a team of teaching artists who have experience working with K-1st.
