Description

In this 6-week course, we will explore projects that provide the foundation for knitting, crochet, embroidery, textile design & dyeing. During each 2 hour class, we will complete a project such as making an embroidery stitch sampler, knit rectangles and crochet circles, watercolor painted plaids, and tie-dye/ shibori t-shirts.

JoJo Sherrow is a musician, artist, and educator. She studied textile design and CAD at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked in NYC’s fashion industry for 12 years and has been teaching classes in various schools and universities since 2005.
