Recycled materials offer infinite art-making possibilities. In this class, students will develop their ability to see with an inspired lens and breathe life into materials to make creatures, mobiles, and recycled textile projects. Students will practice fine motor skills, improvisational sculpture, and various collage techniques to tell stories through color and texture using safe scrap materials.
The "Creative Play" class series is designed for our youngest group of artists with shorter classes and engaging projects led by a team of teaching artists who have experience working with K-1st.
