Instructor: Kenny Bransdorf
New class alert!
Teacher Kenny is joining us as an instructor for the upcoming Winter session, see what he has to say about this new class below.
"Whether you're a die-hard Spider-Man fan or the leading authority on One Piece lore, chances are you've found yourself engrossed by their rich worlds and the ever-growing cast of characters that populate them. Bradbury once said, "Plot is no more than footprints left in the snow after your characters have run by on their way to incredible destinations." Nowhere is this more evident than in long-running comic and manga series, whose staying power is almost always dictated by their ability to weave intrigue from the wake of characters, new and old, thrust into unfamiliar locales and situations. In this class, we'll aim to break character work and worldbuilding down to their fundamentals to better understand how to do it ourselves, in addition to giving us a more critical and appreciative eye for it when reading the works of others."
